Just moved to Chaiyaphum (Isaan) a month ago and I need to renew my retirement visa next month. Is there an Immigration Dept office closer than BKK?

Also, this is the first time I will do the renewal myself. What documentation will I need?

You have no choice - you must do at the office serving your location. You will need proof of residence and normal financial proof (800k in your name bank account 3 months/bank letter/passbook and copies) or (65k per month income letter from your Embassy) or (combination to equal 800k per year). 4x6cm photos for TM7 application and fee of 1,900 baht.

From Khon Kaen take the road to Udon Thani and it is on the right hand side just before the new Tesco which is on the left.

If you see Tesco you have gone too far and need to do a U Turn.
