Where can I fix my MacBook without having to go to the Apple store?

Preferable a shop in Bangkok.

That is a bit of a broad question. Where are you located?

Don't see any point other than going to a authorised apple service centre. The cost savings are minimal.

i got some work done at a shop in MBK - the guy seemed very able and repaired what turned out to be an OS problem not a hardware prob.

it was the guy at TAN TELECOMS shop (ipad screens etc) who recommended the shop to me, its just behind his place.

How did that happen?

There is a shop on Srinakarin accross from either Seacon Square or Paradise Park (used to be Seri Center) that my office manager has used with happy results. It's been there forever.
