Telephone Answering Service - Overseas

Featured Replies

I am looking for a telephone answering service where my customers can call our existing office numbers (HK, US & UK all Skype based) and have all calls answered 24/7 - then forwarded to a member of staff or take a message

I know there are many solutions available however i have noticed that none of the companies that i have contacted are able to route calls to International numbers, such as me here in Thailand. They advise it is a limitation of their VOIP based system.

Solutions

1. Find a telephone answering service based in Thailand

2. Find a telephone answering service that can forward calls overseas

3. ...........

Hmmm. VOIP and skype type of things are not favored in Thailand. Probably because the phone companies can't find a way to tax the usage, since the connection is already there via the internet.

3. Sign up for a DID service in the US that can supply you with a US number that is routed via SIP to anywhere you are. Then you can use any service in the states , have the call forwarded to a domestic US number, and that will route to you in Thailand via the internet. (Replace US with UK or Hong Kong for a local access number in those countries.)

Just search for US DID SIP. You'll get about 42 million results, nearly all of them relevant.
