geriatrickid
I am more concerned about TG transferring too many of its routes to Thai Smile. It's frightening. I don't think most people are aware of the extent of the changes.
David48
One of the posters mentioned it a week or so ago with the view of the paint job it has here. The thread currently lives over in the Pub Forum.

roamer
Bangkok – Paris CDG eff 15FEB13. They must be expecting an upsurge in numbers then. Never flown this route without empty seats., which always surprised me as the alternative was Air France. Maybe I got lucky ?

Exactly, it's actually a smart move, all the distribution channels and interline agreements are available directly, so they can focus on the product in itself... and currently it looks good as it is not presented as a low-cost (knowing the previous announcements for Thai Tiger etc.). The target here seems to be Bangkok Airways rather than AirAsia...
