Voa For Indian Citizen?

Featured Replies

As I remember it an Indian citizen can apply at the airport and get a 15 day Visa on Arrival

at the Visa Desk

This link seems to suggest that a 90 day visa is possible

All very confusing.

Can anyone clarify for me?

Thanks

It is 90 days for Indians that are holders of diplomatic, official or service/special passports. Ordinary Indians just get the 15 day VOA. That link seems to be missing some countries as well.

An Indian Diplomatic Passport and an Official Passport. These passports serve supplementary functions to an ordinary Indian passport.

The first two lists on the linked page are under the heading "I. List of Countries which have concluded agreements on the exemption of visa requirements for holders of diplomatic or official or service/special passports with Thailand and permitted to stay for a period of not exceeding 30 and 90 days" (highlighting in bold is mine) and are correct as far as I can see.

For ordinary passports, the list for 30 days is incomplete, but the complete list also does not include India. That list has Macau, Laos and Russia missing, though.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place
