Adive On Travelling With 2 Passports

Featured Replies

I arrived in Thailand on a 30 day visa and I leave tonight. I came and will leave on one UK passport. My 2nd UK passport I sent away to the UK to get a visa to go to West Africa of which I now have.

My plan is to leave tonight on the passport I came in on and when I arrive in Africa enter on the other one which has the visa.

The question I have is what happens if when i check-in tonight they ask to see my visa? Is it ok to tell them that it is in another passport of would it be better to tell them that i will get a visa on arrival, which is possible.

The title should have been Advice.

Thanks

If they ask for a visa just show them the other passport - nothing odd or illegal about it and many travelers are in that position every day.
