Dairy Queen is old hat in Thailand. Check out Popeyes chicken. franchises are available. You would be on the ground floor.

Fried Chicken is popular. Might be because the initials of one franchise are easy to pronounce: KFC.

Dairy Queen is owned by Minor Foods Group, which is a 100% subsidiary of Minor International. None of the outlets are franchised tho' and they are owned by the company. The main franchises in the group in Thailand are: Pizza Company and Swensen's.

If you go to MFG's website there is quite a bit of info set out under franchising, including requirements and fees. Generally they are looking for people to build and operate a number of restaurants (not just one), with capital of USD3mio+
