Middle-Eastern Tourist robbed of money by two transsexuals in South Pattaya

PATTAYA:--Two transsexuals were arrested in the early hours of Thursday, accused of stealing money and personal item from a middle-eastern tourist.

The incident occurred on Pattaya Third Road in South Pattaya and thanks to a quick response by Police, the suspects were arrested as they attempted to make their escape on-foot. The suspects and the victim, Mr. Mohammed Hassan aged 28 were taken to Pattaya Police Station.

Khun Mongkol aged 24 and Khun Jantagan aged 19 confessed to approaching the victim on the street and removing items from his trouser pocket, including 3,000 Thai Baht, the victim’s ID card and a small quantity of foreign currency. The suspects appeared relaxed as they were processed and charged with aggravated theft. They claimed they were poor and needed money urgently to pay their rent.
