43 year old man sustains serious burns after explosion in Jomtien

PATTAYA: -- A 43 year old Thai Man sustained serious burns to his face and hands after a spray paint canister exploded after it was placed on a bonfire.

Rescue Services were called to the house of Khun Umnoy in Soi 5 off the Tepprasit Road in Jomtien on Saturday Afternoon after the explosion which was reportedly caused after the victim started a fire close to his home so he could burn some refuse.

The canister was inside the bag of refuse and ended up on the fire. The canister exploded and caused the victim to sustain serious full thickness burns to his face and hands.
