July 26, 201213 yr I need to apply for the residence certificate which is used for buying vechicle, driving licence, bank etc, and I believe it’s this one: On the form its stated entered Thailand on..............and allowed to date.......... I came in on a Non Immigrant O in May, but have in the meantime been issued a retirement visa (extension of stay). Do I write the day I entered in May which was on the Non Immigrant O and allowed to date when the retirement visa expire next year or do I have to calculate 90 days to my 90 day report at Immigration? Btw, just looked at my extension and it seems I need to get that retirement extension corrected. I got that now in July and in the passport it is stamped: Extension of stay permitted up to August 2012! Do we get 13 months? Thanks Felt.
July 26, 201213 yr Most current allowed to stay. Yes your visa entry must have gone until August - extensions are from ending date of current permitted to stay stamp. You should always do them a week or more (up to 30 days) early as you lose nothing. I hope you made a type and that should read August 2013? Of did you get extension in July of 2011?

Allow me another question not related to residence certificate but the retirement extension. I have a multiple re- entry and will need to travel frequently to my home country also in the future. What number do I write as Visa number on the arrival card when re- entering Thailand. Is it the Visa number on the Non O which the extension are based on or the number Immigration write on the left over the "retirement stamp" Thanks Felt.
July 27, 201213 yr You write down the number of your re-entry permit on the arrival card. I always write next to it re-entry.
