Vientiane Thai Consulate Closed Aug. 2Nd & Aug. 3Rd? (And Suvannahket?)

Featured Replies

Is the Thai Consulate in Vientiane closed both Thursday and Friday this week? That's August 2nd and 3rd. Both days are listed as thai holidays (Asalha Bucha Day and Buddhist Lent Day), but I'm not sure that means the consulate is closed both days. It looks like Thail consulates in other places are open at least on Friday.

And related to this, is the consulate in Suvannahket closed this Thursday and Friday?

Thanks for any information.

Vientiane's office will be closed according to their website; http://vientiane.thaiembassy.org/vientiane/en/embassy/embassy_time/index.php?month=8&year=2012&bxajaxid=

I'm in VT right now and will visit the consular section tomorrow and confirm, but I highly doubt it would be open.

Savan's schedule is identical: http://www.thaisavannakhet.com/savannakhet/th/consulate/officehours/index.php?month=8&year=2012&bxajaxid=
