Just wondering about the 7 day extension on the 30 day stamp a person receives when flying in and having a return flight ,is there a more generous extension than 7 days that can be obtained in Thailand ? .

NO, 7 days that's it, than you must leave the kingdom

A visa exempt entry can only be extended for 7 days. Unless you are married to a Thai which is 60 days.

The only other option is a border run and get a 15 day entry or fly out and back for 30.

thanks , i think i will just go to the Thai embassy and ask for a couple of entry's.
