Submitted wife's Oz visa last Friday, checked on VFS website yesterday and it said sent by courier

1 August.

Could not believe so quick, don't know if that is a good or bad sign, will have to wait till passport is received to see if granted.

There would not have been more than a dozen people at the VFS office when we submitted the application.

When you go the UK VFS office it is always crawling with people.

Anyway, will keep fingers crossed the visa is granted.

Normaly the turn around time for TV,s is less than 7days,

So you probably have nothing to worry about if her visa was prepared properly.

Spoonman, did your girlfriend submit her application directly with the embassy, or did she go through VFS?

All my Fiancees Tourist visas have ben processed favourably. within a four day turnaround.

VFS, Embassy was not accepting applications directly.

Thanks Spoonman. My gf is going to submit her 2nd TV application on Monday next week, I'm hoping she'll have in back by week's end.

Attached is the copy stapled to my wife's passport.

I was surprised she was granted a one year/three months per visit, multiple entry.

We only want to go for three weeks in October, maybe we will go again in the next twelve months.

Must have written a good sponsor letter.

Congrats UbonOz. I'm sure the fact that she is your wife helped with the length of the visa being granted.
