I Phone 3

Featured Replies

I have been offered one of these from a friend in UK.

Will it work okay in Thailand and does it need unlocking etc.

Is it expensive to use in Thailand and do I need a different Sim for Thailand, I use a one to call Sim at the moment.

Sorry if these are simple questions...I am not to up to date on phones.

I have the same iPhone and if it needs to be unlocked will cost around 600/800 baht. You can use Thai SIM cards. Just gave to be careful if you use the web enable function, must buy a package, don't use the by the minute deal

Actually you can get it unlocked for 200 baht.

You will need a special "iPhone" sim card as a regular sim wont fit in but you can go into whatever provider you deal with (true, d-tac etc.) and they will give you the iPhone sim free and you can keep your same Thai number.

As far as "Is it expensive?" goes, it is the same as using any kind of phone.
