Tuk Tuk Passenger dies in early morning road accident in Sattahip

SATTAHIP:--A customer of a three-wheel Tuk Tuk Taxi was killed in a road accident on the Sukhumvit Road in Sattahip District early on Thursday morning.

Police and rescue services were called to the scene of the crash and saw the body of the Tuk Tuk passenger Khun Anchalee aged 54, known as a local food vendor. She was on her way back home after buying food at the early morning market to sell later in the day. Police were given two different versions of the events from the Tuk Tuk Driver and driver of a White Minivan which is thought to have slammed into the rear of the taxi

Tuk tuks really aren't much safer than a motorbike, poor woman. Just going about her daily life and through absolutely no fault of her own is killed trying to provide for her family.

Sad for her family. For sure, tuk-tuk's aren't very safe.
