Chiang Mai Airport Re Entry Permit

Featured Replies

I have an emergency. Can I get a re entry permit at the Chiang mai airport instead of the immigration office? If possible, anyone know the hours the airport office is staffed ? Papers needed and photo ?

Thanks for the help in advance.

I was offered 1 last time I left through CNX and the cost was 1,100 baht instead of the usual 1,000 baht from immigration but as I was going back to England and was getting a new visa there I didn't want one. I don't believe you need any other information than what is already in your passport but i'm not 100% sure as like I say I didn't need one. Hope this helps in some way.

thanks for your help

Last year, I went out on an international flight from Chiangmai Airport and I saw a Re-Entry permit desk on the left side just before Immigration check on the 2nd floor of International Departure. The desk was staffed but I do not know the operation hours. Nobody at Chiangmai Immigration or Airport Immigrationt on First floor told me about this desk, Seem, to be a secret. If you go out on a domestic flight you can not access this zone. Maybe someone flying out international from Chiangmai can confirm if the desk is still there.
