jschorr
Dear Visa Forum Members, My wife (Thai citizen with US Green Card) and I (US citizen, here on a mult entry Non Imm O Visa) are planning to visit Turkey for two weeks (leaving from and returning to BKK) next month. I know that I can get a tourist visa on arrival in Istanbul, but am unsure about current rules for Thai citizens visiting Turkey. We went to the Turkish Consulate in Bangkok and were told that the rules were changing "very soon" and that by September my wife would probably be able to get a tourist visa on arrival. Does anyone know if the rules have already changed? Thanks.
jschorr
Good news. Just announced in today's Bangkok Post: "Turkey has announced visa exemption for Thai passport holders." Thirty day stay OK for each visit , up to total of 90 days within 180 days of first entry.
7by7
Thanks for the information. There is another topic running on this; so to avoid duplication I'm closing this one.
