Hi,

I'm trying to find a shop that sells high-end outdoor (camping / hiking) equipment- brands such as North Face / Mountain Hard wear / Vaude / Coleman , etc etc-

I'm particularly interested in Gore-tex (footwear & clothing). Some places in certain malls have a small selection of North Face products- there used to be a North Face shop in The Emporium but it's no longer there.

I've yet to find a single specialist shop that has a good selection of products / brands...

Any ideas....??

central plaza has a NF shop...

Try Mega Bangna. They have a North Face shop, and about 3 shops down there is Sports World with a reasonably large

'Outdoor' equipment area.

Try SuperSports. Several locations around town. Including Central World and Mega Bangna. Also, in Central World, there are quite a few nice sporting goods stores. And more in the malls nearby. Hard to find, just have to walk around.

I think Central World even has a Columbia store.

Outdoor Unlimited on the 2nd floor of Amarin Plaza, not as expansive as Super Sports but they mainly focus on outdoor sports so could have what you are looking for.

The outdoor shops are all grouped together in a special section on the 1st floor. Really good selection

Excellent , thanks to all- looks like first stop Amarin Plaza this weekend... i also read on another thread , that there's a supply of equipment on the 3rd floor of MBK.
