Expressions... Where Did They Come From

Interesting reading. One thing jumps out at me though, I went as a kid to a place in Belgium called Bok Rijk, which claims to be an original village ( or possible a copy of it ). there was a small farm house there which you had to bend over to get in there, and I distinctly remember a 4 posted bed there which was too small for a current day adult to sleep in ( unless your French of course - ) . The URL above says that 4 posted beds were only for the rich.
