Basset Posted August 11, 2012 Share Posted August 11, 2012 For our main fund raising event last year the Royal British Legion Thailand held a number of Poppy Golf Tournaments around Thailand. This year to mark 70 years since the start of construction of the Thai Burma Railway we intend to Run (7 marathons in 7 days), Motorbike and Cycle the lenght of the railway from Three Pagodas Pass to the River Kwai. The Runner leaves first followed by the Mountain Bikers and lastly the Motorbikes all meeting up at the River Kwai for a Remembrance Service on 11th November. We have sponsors (But will of course accept more!!) I have the runner, local MC Clubs are sorted but I dont have any good contacts for a group of Mountain Bikers (it's Hilly!). Anyone who runs a Cycling Club who could help please PM me, we would provide the logistics. Any Motorbike Riders who would like to join the Ride also please PM me.
