twr404
Hello All, I've been a Truevision customer for many years. Truevisions audio has always and is still out of sync with the video. I was hoping the recent upgrade to the new encoding format MPEG-4 would help but it is still, just as bad as before. The audio is delayed so there is nothing I can do in the SETUP page. The only option available to adjust is to delay audio more which is the exact opposite of what I require. What is needed is a way to delay the visual or move the audio forward. I don't see True ever fixing this in their broadcast. Quality control is lacking. So, I was wondering if any AV gear heads out there know of a device I could buy that would allow me to adjust the video to properly sync with the audio? Thanks, TR

bobl
In the option to 'delay audio' does it perhaps allow you to go backwards through zero? i.e. if you 'delay audio' by -500ms you're actually advancing it by 500ms?
astral
I have this problem on some satelite channels (not True) and power off / on of the box cures it.
RedCardinal
Have you tried changing audio to PCM? Either that or switching it back from Dolby to PCM? It's in the audio settings menu. Sometimes the delay is caused by post processing in the decoder.
