Just a few questions (Sorry I know most of these are probably covered elsewhere, but maybe not my specific questions).

I recently read that if you're married, you can apply for citizenship without already having PR. How long do you need to have been living here before applying? (e.g. Just the period you'd wait between obtaining PR and then applying for citizenship, Or PR period + Citizenship period)

If you change visas during your stay, e.g. From B to O (marriage), does this change the time you have to wait before applying at all? (since I'd hate to change visas then find out that 3 years continuous meant 3 years on the same visa. Likewise, my visa is tied to my school, if I change schools would my 3 years reset?)

If you're applying on the basis of marriage, I assume you don't also need an 80k plus thai salary or whatever right?

Also if you're from a small country, is the citizenship process faster? (since they approve upto 50 applications per country each year right?)

I won't be applying for another year or two, is there anything you can suggest I do during this time to assist with my application when I make it?

As I'm a teacher at present, and will get married in 2 years then probably apply for citizenship or PR (pretty sure NZ allows dual citizenship, so prob citizenship).
