I don’t frequent the bars much anymore or stay in hotels so I’ve lost touch with prices a bit. I have estimated below and told them to budget 11,000 Baht to have a good time , some have said that it is an outrageous amount to spend. Mid-range hotel - 1,600 to 2,500 3 meals – 800+ Night out on Walking Street and female company – 4,000 to 6,000+ Shopping and incidentals would make it 11,000+ per day = $2,600+ USD a week. I think that these are realistic prices even in the low season , but maybe I'm wrong. I do think that if these guys can’t afford it then they would better off to save more for next time. londoedan Posted August 19, 2012 Share Posted August 19, 2012 Nah - I think you're way-over. Perfectly decent hotel about 1000 per night - like the Diana Inn. Food - more like 300-400 per day (unless you like eating at the HRC or Hilton). Some time at the beach - 2 to 300 for a few hrs in the afternoon. Some company - 500 on Beach Rd ST - 1000 for some afternoon delight on Soi 6 - maybe 2000 all-in from one of the mid-range go-go's (LK Metro for example, Oasis or Tim Bar) So if you mix up the latter options, then you're looking at less than 3000 THB per day - and I don't think you'll be slumming it either Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

meatballs Posted August 19, 2012 Share Posted August 19, 2012 I find 3k is the minimum to have a good night out in Pattaya(drinks + companion). Add 500-1000 baht for a room, 500 for food, and 1,000 for other stuff and you'll be alright. That's about 5-6k daily. 10k and you can take girls out of higher end ws bars. Russian bars are fun too if you have more cash to burn. I've also done it on the cheap here for 2k daily. 500 baht for a beach road companion, 400 for a cheap room, 300 for food, and a few hundred for cheap booze & ciggies from 711.
