Rimmer Posted August 20, 2012 Share Posted August 20, 2012 German accused of burglary at North Pattaya restaurant PATTAYA:--Police arrested a 48 year old German National in the early hours of Monday, accused of stealing 5 cartons of cigarettes worth 4,000 Baht. The alleged theft took place at Gulliver’s Pub & Restaurant at the Northern end of Pattaya Beach Road when the venue was closed. The manager, Khun Banjarat aged 34, arrived later on Sunday morning to open the restaurant and saw that a burglary had taken place and only the cigarettes had been taken. She looked at CCTV images and spotted a foreign man breaking-in and stealing the items. Later on Sunday Night, she spotted the suspect, later named as Mr. Michael Ederer, walking past the Restaurant and called the Police who arrested him and took him to Pattaya Police Station where he confirmed he had lived in Pattaya for one year and had run out of money.
