Where To Recycle Old Computers?

Featured Replies

does any place take old computers? maybe use the parts for something?

Not sure, but if the computers are working, Phuket Special School might have use for those?

They are doing a important work to educate disabled children.

Empty land plot seems to be a trend these days for dumping stuff.

Hi,

Does anyone know where to buy older parts for a laptop?

I need some old DDR SDRAM PC2700 (2 x 512Mb or 2 x 1024Mb) for an old Dell D800, and also some parts from a 15.4" screen (CCFL tube).

Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I dont believe in just throwing things away if still useable, especially if just for browsing etc. However, it obviously will come to a time when its beyond reasonable repair or upgradeability.
