hi,

im arriving in bkk in few days time, i plan to go to hau hinn, what times are mini buses from bkk and where do i get the bus ? morchid or victory monument ? i will stay in hau hinn for 2 days then i must leave to go to pattaya, very early morning suits me fine when travelling so can anyone advise me how much is a mini bus from hau hinn to patts and the prices please.

BKK to HH is 180 baht and the minibuses leave from Victory Monument every 30 minutes (maybe from Morchit also but I am not sure of this)

Going from HH to Pattaya you have a choice, you can either go from HH to Victory monument and change there to Pattaya, buses from VM to Pattaya are about every 20 minutes and cost around 120 baht or you can go direct from HH to Pattaya for 400 baht, travel time around 4.5 hours.

The buses from HH to VM start at 4 30 AM, sorry but not sure what time the direct bus to Pattaya starts.

The Hua Hin-Pattaya bus is operated by Roong Ruang(means "prosperity") / Bell Bus Company (Pattaya Nua Station).

On this subject , how much is a taxi roughly from Don Muang airport to victory monument ?

Get the minibuses during the day. At 9pm some of them have been on the road for 20hrs and 10 red bulls (or worse).

There used to be a ferry service from Hua Hin to Pattaya, not sure if it's still running though.
