Rimmer Posted August 27, 2012 Share Posted August 27, 2012 Workers hand pulled into Coconut Shell Grinder at Factory in Pattaya PATTAYA:--Over the weekend, a worker at a Coconut Factory in the Nong Pla Lai area lost four fingers on his right hand following an accident with a machine used to grind down coconut shells. Khun Suchart aged 29 was working alone at the time of the accident so the exact cause was unknown as he was unable to speak with others due to the extreme pain caused by his hand being pulled into the machine. Rescue Workers were called to the scene and carefully bandaged the hand and prepared him for transport to Hospital where Doctors have yet to confirm if he will lose his entire hand. His four fingers cannot be reattached.
