rubberduck, you can mixed very good between Thai and Arabic to new THAILAND alphabet.

Really, people can't read that ? I noticed the unusual font only after a few seconds after it splashed on the screen, the word I recognized instantly.

After take time to search and nothing, then I go to ask my neighbor to read it.

I can understand where a native Thai speaker would have trouble, since they'd be trying to read the Thai & there are two Loh Lings (Thai letter L) in there in place of As.

If they cant read english in the first place then they will not be able to read that. Nothing to do with intellegence and everything to do with langauge ability. If you did the same thing in the Thai alaphebet most people on this forum would fail your "test."

Amusing, thanks, I`ll ask my gf when she comes back from work.

As she can read and write Thai and English I`ll be disappointed if she doesn`t work it out.

She might just call me stupid, hopefully get a laugh out of it.

Showed to five Thais, all read it without problems. I'm not really convinced about this test working.

If your girlfriend can't read this and can read English, she's either slow or just humoring you. There are lots of Thai fonts too, this concept shouldn't be strange. A Chinese style font that makes the alphabet look kinda like Chinese characters is fairly common so this isn't much different

Too easy

My wife's sound asleep, has been for hours, even sleeps before the kids.

Without her having a go at this I will say "NO", can't think out of the box. She stays in her comfort and won't come out until provoked. Then she goes mental. lol

I am a graphic designer, and was recntly asked to design a tshirt for an American Muay Thai fighter. The lettters were roman, but my rough interpretation of Thai script.

I showed it to a Thai friend this weekend and she didn't get the Thai refernece at all... I certainly didn;tblame her. ha!
