rcalsop
In a recent conversation with a Thai petrol head he went to great pains to show me his Voltage stabliser saying what great benefits it had , I have also seen on the car club web sites in Thailand , Malaysia , Singapore similar devices being recommended ,and some DIY fitting instructions . This one is new to me does any body know about them , has any one got one and why ? or is it another gimic toy ? ..
mraitchison
I would presume that it is to stop voltage fluctuations effecting their sound system much like the capacitors that they have. Can't see any other benefit for one.
Tywais
I remember years ago that you could get spark plug wires with built in rf filters to keep the electrical noise out. With current cars & technologies I suspect they are well stabalized already.
Thetyim
You already have one voltage stabiliser built into the dashboard to make sure the gauges give an accurate reading . So what were the advantages your guy told you about ?
