Drunken Thai Woman jumps from Central Pattaya apartment balcony

PATTAYA:--A second case in less than a week of a woman reportedly jumping from a balcony following a fight with her boyfriend occurred in Central Pattaya in the early hours of Wednesday, Rescue Workers were called to the Pradubyad Apartments in Soi Nokow and assisted a 27 year old woman, Khun Tipyupar, who appeared unconscious.

She was lying on the street below a 2nd floor apartment where she is believed to have jumped from. A strong smell of alcoholic beverages were also noticed by rescue workers. Her boyfriend, Khun Artit aged 29 told us that Khun Tipyupar came back to the apartment in a drunken state after spending the night with friends. A verbal altercation occurred which culminated in the woman jumping off the balcony.

Perhaps one of the locals can help me out here.

Why do we never read of Thai men jumping from condos?

Why in a case of Thai woman/Thai man, the woman jumps?

Why in the case of Thai woman/farang, the farang jumps?

The mind boggles.
