Bizarre incident involving Ministry of Commerce officials at Pattaya Police Station

PATTAYA:--Officials from the Ministry of Commerce seized hundreds of counterfeit branded items at an unknown location in Pattaya on Tuesday Night and did their best to prevent journalists from publishing the story.

Earlier in the night a Baht Bus full of the seized items arrived at the back of Pattaya Police Station and officials began to offload black bags full of clothing items reportedly seized earlier in the night. When they saw journalists they put the bags back on the Baht Bus and drove off. They were then seen to return to Pattaya Police Station and dumped the bags in front of the main reception.

When asked if anyone had been arrested, they said the owner of the shop was able to escape. During the reporting process at the Police Station, journalists were not allowed to film but were able to determine the seizure was made from an unnamed shop on Pattaya Second Road.
