sailblue
I would appreciate some views on how do I go about importing seconds that are products such as clothing with Disney characters etc. I have been offered samples and seconds that were produced for a licensed seller of Disney characters and other licensed characters. Large numbers, a container load, as they have built up over the last 18 months of production for Europe and Asia. Many were part of the sampling procedures that were produced prior to the actual production. I imagine I need documents from the factory or the buyer that they were meant for. My fear is of course that when they arrive here in Thailand I have a problem. Thanks in advance for any information re this topic
Sunbelt Asia
For licensed products such as Disney, you must obtain a license from the manufacturer to say that you are allowed sell these products in Thailand. Once imported, duty amount is 60% for children's clothing of the CIF invoice value. We use Robin at Dawn Shipping, as stated in another thread, he has proved to be very reliable and knowledgeable. www.dawnsg.com [sunbelt][/sunbelt]
