September 6, 201213 yr Hi there, Ok just wanted to clarify, this meaning, when you enter "free hugs" in google translate, it gives this in thai = กอดฟรี But I don't think it has the same meaning as what it means in English, I showed someone when I was in Thailand the above wording and they said it means basically, the opposite of purchasing something, doesn't necessarily carry the same meaning, to basically give me a hug, which is the intention of the English phrasing. Anyway so I was wondering if any Thai experts could tell me another form of saying that same phrase in Thai to have the same intended meaning that it has in English, or is google translate correct with the กอดฟรี ?
September 6, 201213 yr Maybe it was someone who hadn't heard of "free hugs" before? I had to look it up too, to see what it was exactly Anyway, the Thai wikipedia page uses the same translation as you, so I'd go with that: http://th.wikipedia.org/wiki/กอดฟรี
