Hi

We have moved back to Thailand after 12 years in the middle east and decided to take advantage of the tax free shipping allowance for Thai nationals and ordered a container door to door.

Today, we find out that because my wife entered the country using the egate system she doesn't have an entry stamp in her passport and the shipping company is telling us that she has to go back to the airport in person to get the stamp so that the company can process the shipment. They claim that customs cannot access her immigration records to see what date she entered the country.

We are living in Chiang Mai and really don't want to go back to Bangkok for this stamp, but the shipping company is telling us she has to go in person and is not allowed to send a member of her family who all live in Bangkok to get this stamp.

Has any TV member experience of this problem and do you think it is possible to send a family member to get the stamp in her passport.

Thanks
