Last week I read an articel , that the American note bank federal recerve maybe plan to connect the dollar to the gold price, does this already happen in the past?

more likely saw it in a dream. If you want to link the performance of gold to a currency the Euro is your pal. Not quite what you had in mind, but hey ho.

Gold used to set the standard, then we went to paper, Hard to figure out what would happen if the Dollar is coupled back to gold , all I know it wont happen in my life time .

It won't happen, ever.

Even on a gold standard it was still just a belief that the government could exchange a USD for some amount of gold. It never could, there was and will always be more money created by the commercial banks than any physical commodity could support.
