This Amazing 102-Year-Old Woman Has Been Driving For Longer Than Anyone On The Planet

Margaret Dunning started driving when she was eight. Thanks to some fortunate family connections, she got her driver's license when she was 12. For those of you whose understanding was that there'd be no math involved, she's been driving 94 years, legally for 90.

Oh, and currently the car this older-than Mount-Rushmore woman drives is an 82 year-old Packard 740. She changes her own oil and spark plugs in that, in case you were wondering.

Margaret first learned to drive on her parents' dairy farm,

and this is her fabulous car

You don't have to signal a social conscience by looking like a frump. Lace knickers won't hasten the holocaust, you can ban the bomb in a feather boa just as well as without, and a mild interest in the length of hemlines doesn't necessarily disqualify you from reading Das Kapital and agreeing with every word. ~Elizabeth Bibesco

That is one snazzy car, and a cool old babe.
