norwaygeir
Today I got a call from my wife telling me that the battery on my honda click was dead. I just changed the battery in mid July, and the bike have not been ridden a lot since then (maybe 1000 km). The bike have been standing 4 weeks with out being used, so what is draining the battery while it is standing?(almost the same thing happend last time I changed, standing 3 weeks with out beeing used. Anybody have the same problem. On my magna I had a similar problem, changing the regulator fixt that, but I have no clue on this one.
VocalNeal
If you leave the bike standing for months you either need to: a) Get you wife to take it for a ride once a week c) Remove or disconnect the battery d) Buy a "cheap" trickle charger and leave it connected. e) Treat the battery as a consumable and at 500-700 baht buy a new one very time you, after 4 months need to use the bike. ......waits for someone to chip in with buying a $100 Swedish trickle charger to maintain a $20 battery.
