For the hard drive you can just hover over the C: drive. That will tell you the capacity.

For RAM: Press and hold the Flying Windows key and whilst holding down, press the Pause Break key.

Whilst you are doing that, I will send you a program to run on it, in order to check if it will take to the ACER recovery disc.

Any progress?

Things seem to have ground to a halt with the ACER... Have you changed your mind about sorting it?
