Russian Resident Goes Berserk At His Jomtien Apartment

maybe immigration should stop issuing tourist visa to people 50+ who can't even afford a retirement visa with 800k baht in the bank, at least it would shorten the queue at jomtien office. whistling.gif

Aren't you the guy who started the thread about how to live here short of money?

yes, I'm just sick of the constant young guys bashing on TVwai.gif

You know one now. I'm under 40 and moved to Thailand 10 years ago. Have had three respectable and successful businesses in the Kingdom and moved on to Laos now. Considering my age maybe that makes me a net importer of yaba and opium im your opinion..? coffee1.gif

thumbsup.gif , good stuff. Nice to hear, BUT LOS is open to shit we read about every day. Thankfully it seems the BIB are onto stuff to deter others. smile.png

You obviously came into some cash to do your stuff. Let me know how for my future, thumbsup.gif

A lot of hard graft, guts and some luck to make something, but it worked out fine in the end. Mind you makes me look more like 50 now wink.png

That's all a good business revolves around.

Being lucky to have the right product at the right time.

"31 years old and living in Pattaya,he has retired early, unless he is doing something illegal here. the police need to check guys under 40 who live here, they are the undesireables in the main, selling drugs etc"

What a stupid comment.

I have never been in trouble with the boys in blue

Moved here at age 33, was in the right place right time with some investments.

Mind you I still work hard, just Iam lucky to live in this great city.

Sounds like someone is jealous he never had the balls to have a go.

While you are here so many years already doing business, did you notice that those boys wear brown instead of blue?

Its a figure of speech Dopey

How do they get in. sad.png

He is obviously a perfect specimen of a healthy 31 year old. sad.png

He looks like he`s just been liberated from Belson.

How do they get in? Easy, they just walk in, take root and stay. Then hassle a living by selling drugs or some other kinds of illegal activities.

Most of the home countries consider Thailand as a refuge for the scum of the West or Eastern Europe and are pleased of it, it`s saving their tax payers and their Governments a fortune in welfare benefits and prison costs.

"Russin Resident Goes Bersek ....." and what's the news?

That is that what Russians do. It's b***y cold up there! I'nit? They need to keep that blood flowing.

Just survival. Here it's hot, so no wonder if the blood boils occasionally if you grew up in the cold, hmmm,

actually a little bit more often then just occasionally.

So are the Finnish, Norwegian and Swedish. Huge big Forests, so trashing wood is in their blood. It's

part of entertainment in the cold part of this world.

Now the Danish, well they are all Vikings and what do Vikings do? They trash wood, mostly abroad,

don't think they have much wood at home. And Vikings not trashing someone else's wood just wouldn't

be Vikings. Would they?

The British, well no wood left to trash, so we go out on Friday / Saturday nights, get drunk smash the

bar up and fight. For the fun of it, it's called socialising, having a good time. That's just what British do.

The Germans, not too cold, not too hot most of the year. They have plenty of wood but it'sall under states

protection. No smashing wood! Instead they drink beer, loads of beer, so the wood trashing is more often

then not shouting in to the forest as loud as they can.

Now the French ... Well suppose not many French here on TV, so we can leave them out.

The Spanish, the Italians. It can get pretty warm there and can get pretty heated but that is nothing

unusual, it's called "Passion" - with two hands. Nothing personal.

As for the Thai. Well what does one expect? It's b***y hot here. To hot to trash wood and having the sun

burning the whole time on somebody's brain isn't helpful now is it? Not for us Westerners, Northerners,

Southerners nor for the Easterners.

So nothing to with young, old, OAP, BBW, MLF or what ever. Nothing to do with dissrespecting Thailand.

It's just the way it is, where ever you go.

So, nothing new in this news sorry.gif

Good luck and well done to anybody who can live in the country of their choice legally whilst in their 30's, whilst not in agreement of the OP generalization I think it fair to say that it is not common to see people in this age group living legally abroad and that they are probably in the minority.

Plenty of young guys here like myself. We do nothing illegal. I have never sold or used drugs in my life.

You know there are a lot of younger guys who do very well working online, don't you? I know a handful of very wealthy guys living in Thailand who are under 35. Not everyone has to live off a pension to be here. Age is of no importance when it comes to people who earn their money illegally. Older guys do it just as much as younger ones.

I have often asked the younger farangs, what do you do in Thailand? When I`ve met them and engaged in conversation when out and about. The standard answer is; a little bit of this and a little bit of that.

The majority (most but there are a few exceptions) I would guess are managing to stay in Thailand by bending the laws and hoping no one will notice or care about they`re activities here.

That's the thing, as you said, you are guessing. You don't know.

You mean like those older guys who do visa runs or loan the money for their retirement visa ? Supplementing their income by illegally teaching and stuff ?

But you don't tend to see many of those older guys tossing furniture over the balcony and generally wrecking the joint?ermm.gif

True but you see older pedophiles and dealers and guys jumping are usually old too. Sounds like a lot worse then someone trashing his own apartment. The tossing of the furniture is of course bad it could have hurt someone.

I can also explain why older guys don't toss furniture over the balcony. It has something to do with their physical powers and limitations.

http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/568574-briton-held-over-vicious-attack-on-teacher-adam-pickles-in-thailand/ Older brit killing someone

And I dont have it out for the British just found these articles of older guys doing far worse crimes then trashing a room and they just happened to be British my apologies for that.

Maybe with age people tend to mellow out, and most don't toss furniture over balcony. As people age they show their rage less and less, they keep it inside, so they are less likely to wreck furniture. Anger isn't going anywhere tho. Anger and disappointment turn into bitterness and resentment, sometimes towards younger folk. If not careful, this resentment towards fellow expats can settle in, and without any proof you start suspecting fellow residents being criminals.. cos 'Look, he is 30, how come he isn't a postman in town of Llanddewi Brefi, like I was, until old age retirement'

This is true, but instead of tossing furniture off the balcony, the older guys are usually tossing themselves off balcony's

Do you mean they`re a load of old tossers?

I`m getting on a bit, but you`re never catch me tossing myself off from a balcony.

Maybe they should check all the old guys if they are not pedophiles. How do you like that one. Maybe now you see how stupid your statement is.

Young guys can live here easily if they plan it well or have online businesses. You don't have to be past your prime to move here.

Well said robblok. thumbsup.gif

"who had barracaded himself inside his apartment but eventually decided to come out and confronted Police in the corridor who fought with the man for a time before chaffing him..."

Can someone explain to the Pattaya One reporters why some of the words they use have squiggly red or green lines under them, assuming they bother to use a spell/grammar checker?
