New to Thailand, cant decide on Bangkok samui or Phuket for girls >

My Pal tells me Bangkok is crawling with great hookers but the quality is variable and most hotels wont allow you to bring a girl in, is that true ?? does anyone know any guest freiendly hotels, where they do not mind and will not charge you bringing a girl back ?? Im going on a package deal in the UK and Im pretty sure these 4 start hotels will not allow it ?

How does it compare to the Islands, Ive heard the Islands are a lot safer ??

Is it better to book a cheaper hotel ?
