January 31, 200620 yr Thanks for the warning. Time to be elsewhere methinks. (Wonder if White Tiger tastes any different than the normal brown stripey ones?)

January 31, 200620 yr Hang on to your kids if you have any - no, not the because of the tigers - there are big drop-offs here and there, particularly the steps leading up to the restaurant, ie - no rails. Apart from bumping into 3 or 4 wheelbarrow-wielding workmen whilst strolling around the Jaguar Trail (around the lake), being blinded by arc welding, getting SFA information off the nonse behind the counter, finding out that there were, in fact, no free rides until 21:30, the other night, it wasn't too bad.
January 31, 200620 yr Anyone know what they are building at the intersection of the canal road and the road to the Park? Wish they would hurry and get it done, gets congested there in the morning to work and back. Someone at work mentioned a bridge but don't know if it is over, under or just a 4-way juction.
January 31, 200620 yr A narrow (one or two lane) bridge over the Irrigation-Canal, for the millions of tourists expected to come see the Night Safari, I trust it will be completed in time for Poo-Yai Night ? Only 1 week to go , must start dieting, so as to do full justice to the opening-night buffet !
January 31, 200620 yr A narrow (one or two lane) bridge over the Irrigation-Canal, for the millions of tourists expected to come see the Night Safari, I trust it will be completed in time for Poo-Yai Night ? If it is, it will probably have been rushed into completion, and utterly unsafe for pedestrian traffic I'm celebrating the opening in Bangkok, let me know if any of the cabinet are unfortunate enough to get eaten by a rare white tiger
February 1, 200620 yr Despite being bombarded with allegations of irregularities and fierce opposition to the project, Mr Plodprasop said he would go ahead with the next stage of the Night Safari, which is part of the government's ambitious plan to turn the ancient northern city of Chiang Mai into a world-class tourism hub. Oh lord....not another hub
