anyone know if there is export quality trade shows in cm mainly in the textile interior design catagories\cheers

The nearest I know to something like this is occasionally (maybe every 6 to 8 weeks) there is a trade show next to the chamber of commerce on Thung Hotel Road. It has lots of stalls (inside under cover) mainly textiles but at other times will feature machinery (embroidery, solar panels etc). It actually gets pretty packed mainly with Thais. Quite a bit more upmarket than a usual Thai market and the Thais that go are a bit more affluent. They have some static interior design displays as well but less than a handful more as a background to Thai crafts.

No matter what the theme of the overall expo is there is always plenty of textile/fashion displays (and for sale). Unless you drive down Thung Hotel Road you never see the banners across the street, and in front of the commerce building for about two weeks before. A few days before we get the trucks drivinground blaring that it is on. Also see it advertised on CM108. imagine you could quite easily make connections there to bulk buy and export but its not the type of place where you find lots of international buyers if you have goods to sell. Quality wise it can be very good range/prices (by Thai standards) for textiles and some fashion items.
