Thailand To Sell Generic Viagra Drug: Officials

Featured Replies

Sidegra Update. In 2012 Sidegra was very new and therefor hard to get (hard, haha)

That's why I continued to order online. Also cheaper because of the returning customer discount 120 pieces = 100 $ / 3200 Baht.

But now I bought Sidegra in BKK Saphan Kwai area in a local pharmacy - Nearly Regular Price 190 Baht for 4 tablets Sildenafil Citrate 100mg.

So for 3200 Baht I would get 67 pieces. This pharmacy had 3 packs in store, thats 16 pieces, maybe enough for a month.

If a Thai Kai Yaa has the medicine, they will sell it and give you advice about its use. That's it. And the next time you go to a Thai pharmacy just take the meds advice slip or EMPTY PACKAGE WITH YOU AND SHOW them. That is your prescription here in the kingdom.

So let's get this straight, in order to 'combat' fake drugs the Thai government is producing its own fake drugs,

FAKE? Hardly. It is a generic drug. Do you not know what the difference is between a fake and a generic? The fake drugs do not work because... (surprise)... THEY ARE FAKE.

Generics do work because they are NOT fake. They have the same active ingredients, just not the pricey brand name.

Understand now?

So those fake pills will still be on demand to brand conscious guys...like fake Rolexes

Strange, all the Thai pharmacies where I buy Kamagra (for 100B a pop) have never even heard of of Sidegra.smile.png

Watch out for the rise in 'aged foreigner found dead in hotel room after sex with Thai lady'..... these pills are not for the faint hearted.

A bit like Russian Roulette eh?

But I could think of worse ways to go. wink.png

Well show them a picture. It's available from the Thai Pharmaceutical agency. Maybe your pharmacy is happy selling dodgy stuff for cash (tax evasion)

So one pack then contains 5,33 pills ?cheesy.gif

So still better order online, or stuck up when next time in Cambo for a visa run, still 1,5$ a pack of 4

Sure Sidegra is available for quite a while.

And tere is at least one online shop in Thailand which sells ALL that stuff for OK prices.

The "peak" of the MDMA ("ecstasy") experience is like an orgasm (but non-sexual) that lasts for 4 or so hours. ..........

MDMA can be a more direct route to pleasure and euphoria than Sildenafil (Viagra, Sidegra, Kamagra, etc.)

Like an orgasm, with the caveat that a real orgasm is a pipe dream. MDMA releases massive amounts of serotonin, and is also a hallucinogen.

Fantastic as it is, I don't think it's really suitable for prime time use, nor do I think people want that sort of ride on a regular basis.

In an ideal world, adults would have the freedom to choose though, I agree.

Legal MDMA would become a much better alternative

as long as nobody is operating heavy machinery

There is some validity in your points. However what legal recreational drug options do people currently have?

  • Ethanol
  • Tobacco / Nicotine
  • Caffeine
  • Sildenafil

Each of these have positive and negative points, with the first two particularly heavy with the negative. Would adding MDMA to the list of available options be good, despite it having some negative points too?

I bought Sidegra in BKK near BTS Saphan Kwai in September 2014. I asked in 4 pharmacies, only one had it in store. 4 pieces for 190 Baht.

One tried to sell me Kamagra. (I guess for more than that. And I know there is FAKE Kamagra available in Thailand. The Original is manufactured by Sun Pharma in India.)

The good thing is they have a big sign with the expiration date on the packet.

sidegra_2.jpg

The official rate is 10 Baht less of what I paid according to

http://silagra.7pz.me/sidegra/

But 50mg is enough, I break it in 2 pieces. (Or buy Sidegra 50, not sure how much they charge for that though.)

The question is, Have they tested them on RATS first. No No No I am not talking about the people in Parliment.giggle.gif

Good one, mate. After reading your first sentence and my immediate thought was "No, they have not been able to coax Thaksin and Chalerm into the lab yet." biggrin.png

Why shouldn't the thai auth/gov make it,? its an open market and bringing a decent standard of product reasonably priced to people surely is a good thing

Watch out for the rise in 'aged foreigner found dead in hotel room after sex with Thai lady'..... these pills are not for the faint hearted.

I am 79 yrs old and have been using Kamagra for years, still not dead !

Only problem is the headache i get afterwards plus it does not appear to be working so well these days. Hope it still works when i get old though !

specially if used together with a lot alcohol

Be sure to pronounce it correctly, or you might be given the drug all the RTP take: Liagra

Getting Stiffed at the local bar is the big concern.

Getting Stiffed at the local bar is the big concern.

Based on news on other threads, millions of new tourists may get stiffed at the airport as well.

It's hard being in a soft minority. Those of us with cardiac issues can't take sildenafil.

Gulp.

For the love of humanity, if there is no instant erection pill out there that has no dangerous side effects, will someone PLEASE invent one!

p.l.e.a.s.e.

:)

And for a lot more than the cost of Sidegra with a lot less fun...

Ok, Ok, no need to get a hard on about it!

PS @ Whizbang - don't get upset, I was just looking for an excuse to get that joke in....
