Extending Tourist Visa Between Bangkok And No Chang

Featured Replies

I'm currently in Bangkok halfway through a 60 day visa. I think I'll extend this for another 30 days. I'm planning on heading for Ko Chang along the coast. I have my own transport, so bus schedules and stopping aren't an issue.

Where would be good to extend along the way? From what I can figure out my options are here in Bangkok, Chonburi, Pattaya/Jomtien, Rayong, Chanthaburi or Trat.

The office here is Bangkok is very far away in the north of the city while Trat isn't that convenient to Ko Chang. Any view on the others? Is it all much the same? From what I have read Chonburi sounded like a bit of a mess while Pattaya sounded straightforward.

From the thread subject I thought you were having visa difficulties and had ran out of beer!

Could have advised on that but unfortunately know nothing of immigration offices on your planned route. Sorry. Good luck though.

You can get your extension at any immigration office.

All the provinces you mentioned have immigration offices.

Go to http://www.immigration.go.th/ and move mouse pointer to check points at top of page and then click on central which will give you contact info for offices.
