Non O Visa First 90 Day Report

Featured Replies

I am an American 62, married with Non O multi entry visa, having to report for first 90 day check. We reside near Rayong. I am unclear having talked to a few Expats as to where I report. One said just go out of country and return another says go to any immigration station. What's the excepted practice for 90 day check in? Thanks

If you have a Multi Entry Non Imm O Visa you have to leave the country every 90 days.

Enter another Country and return.

If you have a 12 Month Extension of Stay you report to Immigration every 90 days.

Do you have a 90 day permission or are you on a 12-month extension due to retirement or marriage? Look in your passport for a stamp that says something about "admitted until ......" or "application is permitted to stay until......"

The confusion arises because some of your friends are here based on a 12 month permission to stay and others are here using a 12-month O visa which is still valid. If your original O visa is still valid, then you have to do a border run every 90 days or execute a 12 month extension due to marriage or retirement.

You might want to consider one year extensions of stay rather than using 90 day visa entry as with that you do not have to leave country. But if you a male you would have to meet financial requirements of 400k baht in your account 2 months prior to application each year or verification of 40k per month income.
