Nuttawut Meets Thaksin In Hong Kong But Politics " Not On Agenda "

The minister guaranteed with his honour and dignity that during the meeting with Thaksin, they did not talk about domestic politics.

cheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gif

What DID they discuss then? Or did they perhaps exchange cooking recipes (Thaksin ought to have some great ones for hummus and lamb curry by now).

And American Pecan Pie, Spanish paella, English Roast Lamb, Italian Pizza, German Bratwurst etc. etc

The only recipes he got on Grand Flop Tour of USA 2012 was for some third-rate Thai food shop's Phad Thai.

You still flogging that "grand flop tour"? I laugh over the fact that you conveniently forget the paroxysms of rage over the granting of the American visa in the first place, "The Americans don't give visas to fugitives on the run" etc.

This embarassment to you and your peers led you to go hell for leather to "prove" the visit to the US to meet up with some local supporters was 1) something bigger than it was and 2) a disaster, convenientlly forgetting that Thaksin had already made his point by getting a visa and being able to travel to and around America in the first place.

A similar "campaign" is that where you try and decry the Governments response to the troubles in the South by posting every conceivable article about deaths and injuries in the south, something I note from your posting history you neglected to do during the Abhisit years, despite a similar reign of death and destruction.

It's not working.

< off-topic rant snipped>

Your mentioning America brought up Thaksin's trip.

The tour was a flop, speaking to empty Scientology halls and third-rate walk-up Thai eateries. Coming outside to hear chants of "Go To Jail!" shouted to his face. Abandoning other speaking venues when wishing to avoid another city's anti-Thaksin protesters.

He pronounced the purpose of his trip was promises of meeting American politicians and American business people were made without any proof that either transpired.

Topped off by being encouraged to cut his trip short and leave the country early, which he did.

Yes, it was highly successful

Correct. Thaksin's plan was to show the world that he is loved and accepted EVERYWHERE and that his cases are politically motivated. He made a wrong gamble and vanished with his tail between his legs.

Funny enough, now the world knows that he is hated by many.

I suppose it's like Suthep going to Anupong's residence on several occassions and saying it had nothing to do with the formation of the Dem coalition government. HAHAHA

Ahh yes the old peverbal but....but....but.... red key on the keyboard. Can someone tell me where to buy one of these keyboards? I am decent with computers and could probably modify the word doc that opens with the responses below when the red key is pressed.

In case of emergency with no viable response to the OP choose one of the following.

A. But Abhisit is a murderer. He ordered the killings.

B. The red shirts had no weapons.

C. So what if the red shirts burned down part of Bangkok and provincial city halls. They were oppressed.

D. But Suthep is a just as bad as Abhisit. He also ordered the killings.

E. But the yellow shirts are terrorists.

F. But Chuan Leekpai is also corrupt.

G. But the Democrats were not elected.

H. But Abhisit is not a Thai citizen he is a UK citizen.

I. But the PTP has a mandate. If you don’t like it go back to where you came from.

J. Thaksin was framed. It is all political. So what if he didn’t pay any taxes on a zillion Baht sale of his company.

K. So what if Thaksin’s brother in law is police chief

L. So what if Thaksin’s sister is PM.

M. So what if Thaksin’s cousin if Foreign Minister.

N. So what if five of Thaksin’s family have been banned from politics for corruption.

O. The judges are all one sided in favor of the Democrats.

I guess you will just have to accept the physics law, for every action there is an opposite and equal reaction. By your own admission you are a computer guy, why don't you invent the keyboard and offer it for sale. Let us know how you go.

For all the wrongs these guys do there is one underlying fact (which speaks volumes about a myriad of aspects of thainess) that no matter how much their opponents hate it, the divisions it creates in society. These PTP MP will continue to visit Taksin as its almost a pilgrimage (like Muslims and Mecca) that they all need to make once in their political life to prove their the 'good guys' and the voters love it.

So long as the pilgrimage is made once, the voters will forgive all other sins (corruption, murder, treason) and vote them back in time after time after time.

So there probably was no agenda discussed. The visit was the agenda.

The OP suggests a different agenda, 'some errands to run and just using the opportunity to say hello to an old friend'

Nuttawut said he had some errands to run in Hong Kong while Jatuporn wanted to take a short vacation. They took advantage of their visit to meet Thaksin, which was a normal thing to do, as they had not seen each other for a long time.

I can understand running errands. I occasionally have a few to run so I go to the Airport Mall. of course There is no one there who is going tomake me more powerful and richer just by browning my nose.
