A bloke gets a job mining in the outback. The nearest town is 100k away.

After he settles in the cabin with his new workmates, he asks where they went for sex. He was told they didn't have any, unless you could catch an Ostrich, which they said was the nearest thing to a woman out there. The bloke declined that, thinking they were taking the piss.

However, a few weeks later, the bloke is getting really horny, and even the ostrich is becoming an option. He asks again about it, and was told there were some ostriches just over the sand dunes not far away. He asked what he should do,and was told to sneak up behind them, when they had their head in the sand, and just get stuck in.

Off he went. About 2 hours later, he returned looking bedraggled and full of twigs and sand.

When asked how he got on, he said he did what they said, went up from behind and got stuck in.

What was it like, they asked. " Well," he said," it was alright for the first couple of kilometres, then we got out of step."
