You could try the rattan shop on Chiang Moi Road. First intersection after moat.

There's also is/was a shop in Night Bazaar that does the bamboo plates. It might be underground section where the artists are but really can't remember.

A lot of the bamboo plates/pots used to come from Vietnam but that was mostly the lacquered ones.

I think there is also a shop in Ban Tawai doing bamboo plates and I think it is on left side as you drive in to main market area (not canal market) Again not positive.

I bought the bin in the picture at chiang moi. The shop owners would not tell me where these are made, while they say it is made in cm though. I d like to buy wholesale quantities so it would be better for me to contact the factory directly.

I think the shop on Chiang Moi makes a lot of its own products. I've seen people bringing in wholesale lots of rattan to a place close to me . Come from places like Tak (I think). But I think you'll find more of the "designer items" they've probably hired people to make.

I saw this in Ban Tawai this morning.

They can do wholesale prices. Easy to find - drive into Ban Tawai and the shop is on the left about 30m on from Bangkok Bank opposite the Thai Exports office. They are made in Central Thailand and the rattan comes from Kanchanaburi. Hope this helps.
