As they were fondling the men, a ladyboy snatched a gold necklace from the victim’s neck before they escaped on motorbikes. PATTAYA – October 14, 2012 [PDN]: at 1 a.m., two Indian tourists came to the Muang Pattaya police station for assistance. They reported that a trio of ladyboys had snatched a gold necklace from one man’s neck and then fled on motorbikes. The victim was identified as Mr. Agyat Gupta, age 43, nationality Indian. He testified that he and his friend were meandering aimlessly along Pattaya Beach road. Then three transgendered women riding on 2 motorcycles rode alongside and greeted them. The ladyboys then offered them their prostitution services. So they parked their motorbikes and walked to the victims. The affectionate ladyboys caressed and hugged the men, and continued to asked them to buy their sexual services. Then one of them suddenly tore off a gold necklace from the neck of Mr .Agyat. He had just bought the 7-gram necklace for almost 100,000 baht. Agreed 7gm is half baht weight (approx), current cost around 13,000 baht for standard necklace. Bad reporting or price inflation from the victims ?
