150,000 Baht theft from Mobile Phone Shop in South Pattaya reported to Police

PATTAYA:--Over 150,000 Baht’s worth of Smart Phones and Ipad’s were allegedly stolen by a former employee of a Mobile Phone Shop, located at the Tuk.Com IT Center in South Pattaya.

The owner of the shop, located on the fourth floor of the Center, Khun Supagit aged 35, was not there at the time, but reported the incident at Pattaya Police Station 1 week after the incident took place. He was able to provide details of the person alleged to have taken the items, worth a total of 156,400 Baht. She is Khun Piyarat aged 27, a former employee of Khun Supagit who went to work with another shop at the center.

His shop has deals with other vendors whereby stock is shared and when sold, a commission is paid to the seller, and the rest of the money is given back to Khun Supagit. On this occasion, Khun Piyarat requested four IPhone 4s’s, one IPhone 5, one Samsung Galaxy SIII and one IPad. The money for the items was not forthcoming and when Khun Supagit went to his former employees shop, they informed him that she had already left their employment and they were not aware of the items which were taken.
